Repair Service of a Waltham Grade 365 3/o 15 Jewel Sterling Silver Trench Watch from WWI
This rare Waltham Wristwatch was probably worn by an American Soldier in the trenches during the Great War called World War I. The watch has the original military strap and silver clasp. The case has built-in lugs so it can be worn on the wrist. These type of watches were worn in the grueling trench warfare of the deadliest conflict in history.
The watch was completely disassembled and cleaned. Old and dried lubricants were removed. Reassembled and lubricated. Replaced upper and lower balance jewels. Replaced balance staff and pallet fork. Adjusted escapement. Hand cleaned silver case. Placed on extended testing. Watch Repair Complete.
