Overhaul Service of a 1964 Benrus Military Wristwatch
Benrus made this watch for the US Government during the Vietnam War. The watch features a black matt dial with 24 hour makers. Luminous induces and hands. The movement features a hacking mechanism so servicemen could synchronize their watches. 34mm top loading case. The movement is the DR2F2 made by ETA 2372. This watch was missing the crown and stem. There was a rust issue in the setting and needed an overhaul. The watch was full disassembled and cleaned. All rust removed, a matching crown and stem installed. Movement reassembled, lubricated and adjusted. Watch placed on extended testing. Watch overhaul complete.
