Ingersoll Dollar Watch Repair
Restoration Service of a Vintage Ingersoll Yankee Pocket Watch
This family heirloom Ingersoll Yankee Pocket Watch came in for service in rough condition. The decision was made to restore the watch and case. The case had damage and the plating was worn off. The first step was to sand off the scratches and the plating down to the original brass. The brass was polished and then re-plated with rhodium. The movement was disassembled, cleaned, polished, lubricated and reassembled. The bow support was replaced. The crystal was replaced. The watch was placed on extended testing. Service complete.
