Overhaul Service of a Gruen Veri-Thin Precision 21 Jewel Wristwatch

This family heirloom Gruen Wristwatch was overhauled, cleaned and lubricated. The movement was disassembled and cleaned. Reinstalled movement and lubricated. Adjusted hairspring which was tricky. The hairspring has to pass through a very narrow space and not touch anything while it oscillates. The crystal was polished and the scratches removed. A small spot on the dial was touched-up. Cleaned the case. Replaced band. Placed on extended testing. Repair Complete.
