Service and Repair of a Vintage 1967 DTU-2A/P MIL-W-3818B Wristwatch

This 1967 17 jewel Benrus Wristwatch was overhauled. The movement was disassembled, cleaned and lubricated. Installed new mainspring. The balance was regulated. Hands were repainted and relumed per customer request an additional service not part of an overhaul. New crystal installed. Tested, repair complete.

Benrus hands repainted and relumed per customer request, however, it is best to leave hands with the original lume. Reluming hands can affect the value of a watch. This customer was not concerned about the value, just wanted the hands relumed
