This Hamilton Pocket Watch is a work of art. A rare watch which represents the highest standards of Watchmaking and Goldsmithing. Produced during a time when American watch factories competed for the best Art Deco designs in pocket watches. Beginning in 1924 with the “Priceless Possession of a Few” The Gruen 50th Anniversary Pocket Watch. Only 600 were made. The watches had solid gold movements with 23 rubies and diamonds. The Watch cost $500.00 in 1924, and that would buy you a new car back then. The Hamilton Masterpiece was in this elite group of prestigious watches, featuring an 18K gold case, gold train, sapphire pallet stones, and a stunning silver dial. Other watches in this elite group are the Elgin Hulburd Presentation Watch, The Edward Howard, The Dietrich Gruen and The Waltham Premier Maximus. The owner of this Hamilton Masterpiece also has the original box making it even more rare.

The Hamilton Masterpiece was overhauled. It was very carefully disassembled and cleaned. Reassembled and lubricated. The balance was regulated. The case was hand cleaned and polished. The watch was placed on extended testing. Hamilton Watch Repair Complete.
