Repair Service of a Vintage Timex Electronic Dynabeat Wristwatch

This vintage Timex Electronic was service and restored to running condition. The balance was cleaned and lubricated. Clean and adjusted contacts. Adjusted and regulated balance. Polished crystal. Replaced back seal. Installed new battery. Placed on extended testing. Hand polished case. Repair Complete.

All watches have stories. Below is a short biography sent in by the son of the late owner of the watch.

My dad was born August 30th, 1929 in Woodlawn AR at home. He lived there until he was in the 7th grade, after that moved to Pine Bluff AR he attended high school there where he became a Little All-American in basketball, after graduation he enrolled in Little Rock jr College he also played football where they played for the national championship in the Little Rose Bowl which they won. After graduation he married my mother, he became an ironworker he retired from that in 1967 and became a farmer and rancher in Glendale, AR where he lived until he died on January 14th, 2012. He wore the Timex Electric watch most of the time he worked on the farm.
