Omega Constellation Watch Repair
Repair Service of a Vintage Omega Constellation Caliber 561, 21 Jewel movement Wristwatch
This family heirloom vintage Omega Constellation traveled the world with the late W. Ronald Denton, a missionary, and explorer. The watch now owned by his son who added some pictures and text below about his dad. If this watch could talk, the stories it would tell.
The watch when received was not running well. The movement was disassembled and cleaned. Reassembled and lubricated. Replaced calendar bridge screw and repaired the mechanism. Regulated and adjusted timing. Repaired click spring. Adjusted dial and hands. Polished case and band. Replaced crystal. Placed on extended testing. Repair Complete
This watch traveled the world with my father. He was a Protestant missionary, mostly in South America, Bolivia, Brazil, Uruguay (where I was born), Argentina and many other countries. I’m also certain this Constellation traveled a lot on Lockheed Constellations!

Here is a photo of W. Ronald Denton, missionary, explorer, forward-thinker – aboard Moore-McCormick Lines SS Argentina in 1969 from Montevideo, Uruguay to New York, New York. His Omega watch is hidden under his cool sweater.

You can see he is wearing the Constellation in this photo taken with my mother Sarah in Mexico in 1970
